Postdoctoral Fellow
Christopher Morrow, PhD
In the MAIR Lab since 2021 · NIA F32 and K99/R00 awardee
Christopher Morrow joined the MAIR Lab as a postdoctoral fellow in 2021. Chris holds an NIH/NIA K99/R00 award for the project Peeling Back the Layers of Mitochondrial Aging.
Chris builds fluorescence microscopy based tools to study the spatial regulation of cell biology and aging. Chris is first author of the lab's mito-NAD(P)H age clocks: a label-free, non-destructive imaging method in which endogenous mitochondrial NAD(P)H fluorescence predicts biological age and remaining lifespan at subcellular resolution (Communications Biology 2024).
