Anne Lanjuin, PhD
Anne Lanjuin is the MAIR Lab's Senior Research Scientist and has been part of the lab since 2015.
Anne is an author on many of the lab's studies of how nutrient and energy signaling set the pace of aging, including the discovery that splicing factor 1 modulates dietary restriction and TORC1 longevity (Nature 2017) and the finding that neuronal TORC1 modulates longevity via AMPK and mitochondrial dynamics (eLife 2019). Anne has also helped build genetic tools for the field: single-copy knock-in loci for defined gene expression (G3 2019), the SKI TRIP toolkit for tissue-specific profiling of actively translated mRNAs (Cell Reports Methods 2023) and imaging tools for mitochondrial morphology (Life Science Alliance 2024).
